Autumn/Winter vaccination 

The groups to be offered a COVID-19 vaccine in autumn/winter 2024/25 are:
  • residents in a care home for older adults
  • all adults aged 65 years and over
  • persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group, as defined in tables 3 and 4 of the COVID-19 chapter of the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) Green Book on immunisation against infectious disease

National booking system

The National booking system is now open. 

The last available appointment date on national booking system will be Friday 20 December 2024 for both flu and COVID-19.

How do I book?

You can book you vaccination using the NHS national booking system.

The NHS is sending texts, emails, NHS App messages or letters to those who are eligible, but you do not have to wait for the invite to book.

People with a learning disability 

If you are on the Learning Disability Register at your doctor's surgery you should get vaccination invites at the right times.

Anyone with a learning disability can be on the register. If you are not signed up already, contact your doctor to be put on it.
