About this event
Dyslexia Week is an annual event to raise awareness of Dyslexia. Dyslexia is a learning difficulty that mainly causes issues with reading and writing.
1 in every 10 people in the UK have some degree of dyslexia. Dyslexia is a lifelong problem that can present challenges on a daily basis, but support is available to improve reading and writing skills.
Dyslexic people may have difficulty processing and remembering information they see and hear. However, it is important to remember that there are positives to thinking differently. Many dyslexic people show strengths in other areas.
