About this event
This webinar is for professionals who work with young people in the UK who want to find out more about the free and online mental health support available on our platform.
We will first consider the ways in which Eating Disorders and Self-Injury & Harm can impact mental wellbeing. Having discussed the potential impacts of these topics, we will provide an overview of our digital service Kooth and how we can support young people through this trying time.
Kooth.com is online emotional wellbeing and mental health platform, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and delivered by Kooth Digital Health, the UK's largest digital mental health support service provider. Kooth is available 365 days a year providing free and anonymous access to preventative, early interventions and out-of-hours professional support which complements the treatment available via other mental health services.
Kooth offers anonymous and free access to mental health and emotional wellbeing support, available to varying age ranges depending on the area we're commissioned. We will provide a break down of our age ranges for the Kooth platform by region in the webinar.
The webinar will include an in-depth overview of our support features:
- Community support resources
- Self-help tools
- Practitioner assisted interventions
We will also provide case studies detailing real life examples of how we've supported young people's mental health on our platform.
