Join the world's largest ever anxiety & depression study
The GLAD Study is an exciting research opportunity for anyone who has ever had anxiety or depression. This study aims to investigate the influence our genes have on the development of anxiety and depression.
You have until 1 September 2024 to sign up to the study.
How do I take part in GLAD?
Online! All enrolment takes place on their website. You will need to:
- Register on the GLAD website
- Read the information sheet and provide consent
- Complete a 30-60 minute questionnaire
- Complete your DNA saliva kit (for genetics research) and return it to us in the free envelope provided
Please note - during the enrolment process participants are asked to select the referral site from a drop down column, this is Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust
When you have signed up to the GLAD Study, you will be able to see information on the website about a number of optional questionnaires or other research studies that are being carried out. You will be able to choose to take part in these studies should you wish to.
You can stop taking part in the GLAD Study at any time.
Am I Eligible?
To take part in the GLAD Study you must either:
- Have ever experienced or are experiencing anxiety or depressive disorders (with or without a medical diagnosis) Have never experienced any mental health disorder.
- AND you must: Be aged 16 or over Live in the United Kingdom
If this does not apply to you, then you can join our comparison group of individuals who have never experienced a mental health disorder.
