Review of Coventry City Council website - usability of community service pages
We provided feedback on a new website being developed by Coventry City Council.
Coventry City Council was developing a new website and content with the aim of improving access to information and meeting requirements of the Care Act for access information regarding social care services. Healthwatch Coventry assisted by reviewing how user friendly the new website was from the perspective of someone looking for information about social care services.
Our recommendations for improvement included:
- To remove all acronyms from web content
- To make all emergency/urgent situation contact numbers prominent on the pages
