Enter and View: Grove House
We visited Grove House to ensure that people who may be vulnerable and less able to raise their voice have the opportunity to speak to Healthwatch, and to look at how the residents' physical health needs are supported.
We collected our information by speaking to residents and staff. We spoke to eight residents, the Manager and the Deputy Manager and two visitors.
Our recommendations
- Signage around the home could be updated
- Staffing issues to be addressed
- A designated smoking area to be introduced in an appropriate space
