Healthwatch Coventry and Healthwatch Warwickshire set out principles for working together
Healthwatch Coventry and Healthwatch Warwickshire have agreed to develop ways of working together for the benefit of people in Coventry and Warwickshire.
The two Healthwatch are in the Coventry and Warwickshire planning area for NHS services called an integrated care system.
We have signed an agreement of understanding setting out ways of working that recognise how each Healthwatch make decisions about its work, the local focus of Healthwatch and the need to work together where this is the best thing to do.
Healthwatch are committed to a focus on the lived experiences of residents in Coventry and Warwickshire – meaning:
- We speak and make recommendations based on what we have learnt from local people
- We maintain a strong understanding of our communities and the issues that impact people’s lives including health inequalities
- Those who are least heard are important to us and there is much to be learnt by their experiences.
